Chapter 2: Prometheus and the Gift of Fire

The Titan Prometheus defies Zeus by stealing fire from Olympus and giving it to humanity. Zeus punishes him with eternal torment — chained to a mountain with an eagle eating his liver daily. Based on Hesiod's Theogony and Works and Days, and Aeschylus's Prometheus Bound.
