Chapter 3: Pandora's Box

Zeus punishes humanity for receiving Prometheus's fire by creating Pandora — the first woman — and giving her a jar (pithos) she must never open. Curiosity wins. All the evils of the world escape, but Hope remains at the bottom. Based on Hesiod's Works and Days.
